On 5 April 2009, was Carrie Underwood music history at the Academy of Country Music Awards by winning only the seventh women to the prestigious "Entertainer of the Year" award. Underwood was born in Oklahoma in 1983 and grew up on the family farm in Checotah raised. With their recent victory as "Entertainer of the Year," not only make music history Underwood, Kenny Chesney, they also gave the group Alabama, to join as the only country star to win forever 5 "Entertainer of the Year" awards in a row.
